Sorry for the long delay in posting. Things have been super busy lately. We’re getting ready to move back to the USA from Germany. I’m excited to go home. I miss enchiladas so much. 😦

Still waiting for a publishing date for Book 2. My publisher has been having some health problems lately so things at Hadley Rille are going slow for a while. I’m taking the downtime to work on Book 3 in between packing up the house and getting all the necessary items in place for moving across the ocean. It’s a big job.

I’ve set a reminder on WordPress to hopefully help me remember to post more often. We’ll see how that goes. πŸ™‚

Hi Melissa! My name is Lydia and I have been following you for….oh…6 years now I think? I originally stumbled across Nightingale on Elfwood and read it start to finish, plus everything else you had posted up there. I am myself a young writer, working on my first book, with a short story published and several others in the works. I just want to say how proud I am of you, and that I wish you the very best in all things. I know it has been a long journey for you, but you write an EXCELLENT story and I’m so glad you have stuck with it so that the world as a whole can enjoy your engaging tales. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to getting to know you and of you better in the future. If you’d like to know more about what i’m working on, my blog is lydiasherrer.com.

    • Thank you so much, Lydia! I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to hear such encouraging words from a fan and fellow writer. I remember your handle from Elfwood, and I’ll be sure to check out your blog. πŸ™‚

Thanks Melissa! Do keep us updated if you will ever be doing any book signings in the US….hopefully somewhere near Kentucky πŸ˜‰ (a backwater, I know, but its pretty!).

  2. I’ve been waiting for the news on your second book being published. I will never forget the joy of reading Tylidae’s journeys on fictionpress and then eventually Elfwood. I am so happy that you are publishing your books and I wish you all the best with your writing and your move to the US!

    Take care,
    Steph (Rio’sDesire)
